SOMC Hosts Nursing and Healthcare Expo

On July 26, high school students were invited to attend SOMC’s Nursing and Healthcare Expo.

This event allowed students to view several different aspects of nursing specialties and healthcare careers through hands-on activities and presentations.

Students were able to learn from professions from five nursing-specific and five allied health areas, including:

Nursing

Critical Care Nursing

Maternity Nursing

Medical Students

Athletic Training

Pharmacy

Respiratory Therapy

Ultrasound

Lab

Surgery
