SOMC, Dr. Scarpinato to Host Musical Event on October 5

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, the SOMC Development Foundation and Dr. Vincent Scarpinato are inviting the public to enjoy an evening of musical performances from local artists.

The event, Music Makes The Best Medicine, will take place on October 5 in the Marting’s Building in downtown Portsmouth. The event is themed to recreate the enchanting world of a New York cabaret club. Doors open at 6:30pm with performances beginning at 7pm.

“I am excited to bring a touch of New York to Portsmouth through engaging musical performances while raising funds for a cause that is deeply meaningful to me,” Dr. Scarpinato said.

Guests will be able to enjoy a menu of curated small bites and beverages while listening to the musical performances. Those attending should plan to wear cocktail attire.
