Cardiac Catheterization
If your doctors suspect a heart condition, they may use cardiac catheterization to diagnose or treat it. This procedure inserts a tiny tube called a catheter into a blood vessel and moves it up to your heart. We usually insert the catheter into the radial artery in your wrist because this approach has the shortest recovery time.
