Each clinic caters to your specific health needs, so you can rest assured that you’re getting the right testing and treatment. For urgent cases, we offer visits within 48 business hours at one of our convenient facilities, including SOMC Heart & Vascular Associates, our Ironton Family Health Center and Vanceburg Family Health Center.
Heart & Vascular Clinics
Ask your doctor for a referral or simply call (740) 356-8772 for a connection to the clinic that’s right for you.
Antiarrhythmic Clinic
If your doctor diagnoses an abnormal heart rhythm, you may receive a prescription for antiarrhythmic medication such as Eliquis or Pradaxa. You need to have your heart checked regularly while on this medication. Visit our specialized clinic for EKGs, lab work and medication adjustments, and feel confident in your antiarrhythmic medical care.
Anticoagulation Clinic
Certain heart conditions require a medication called Coumadin for symptom management and prevention. This medication is an anticoagulant, also known as a blood thinner. While Coumadin is very effective for heart care, it does come with some side effects. The experienced specialists at our anticoagulation clinic monitor your health and prescription so you can continue to receive anticoagulant therapy safely.
