Member Code of Conduct

The SOMC LIFE Center and CrossFit Alpha Pack Code of Conduct is designed to honor the dignity and worth of all members and property. With your acceptance of the SOMC LIFE Center and CrossFit Alpha Pack Code of Conduct, you are agreeing to value and respect all persons and property.

Be respectful of others at all times:

1. No yelling, screaming or use of foul language, including profanity on clothing
2. Clean machines and return equipment to proper location after use
3. Be respectful to other members waiting on a machine or a piece of equipment
4. Respect the privacy and comfort of other members by practicing modesty in the locker rooms and remaining covered when possible and use changing stalls. Private facilities available if desired.
5. Be respectful to others' belongings and personal space

Aquatics specific Code of Conduct:

1. Members are not permitted in pool area unless under the supervision of a lifeguard
2. Children, under the age of 14, are not permitted in pool area without parental supervision
3. Proper swim attire is required while in aquatic area

Following behaviors will not be tolerated:

1. Threatening actions toward employees/members/visitors
2. Carrying weapons into facility
3. Vandalism to facility (graffiti, destruction, improper use of facility/ equipment, etc.)
4. Excessive anger (throwing, kicking, spitting, hitting, abusive language, etc.)
5. Solicitation of legal or illegal substances
6. Harassment (sexism, racism, ageism, etc.)
7. Theft
8. Disregarding established policies and rules
9. Refusal to follow LIFE Center procedures for membership
10. Sharing of membership key fob or access code/ allowing facility access to non-members
11. Entering the facility as a non - member and not checking in at the front desk first
12. Entering "staff only' areas
